Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. |

hello. Been quite busy for the past few days. Quite tired now.[Thursday] Yay! i earned $50!! Yup, went to paint Yew Tong's mum's childcare centre. The external walls. Let's see who went.... (alphabetical order), Alwyn, Daryl, Elian, Jonathan, Jun Jie, Matthew, Ming, Nicholas, Wei Jin, Wen Lin, Wesley, Yew Tong, Ying Lun, Yong Jie, Zi Xiang. Hope i didn't miss out any others. And there were also 6 others. Anyway, painting is hard work! Gotta stand on the chair and paint. Mix the paint. Pour them. And we got our clothes real dirty. Slippers too. Yew Tong and i drew the wall. Well, he drew most of it (art pro mah). But drawing is hard as well! Oh well. Yew Tong's mum bought us lunch and drinks! Very nice. this is only one part of the entire area. So yeah, we're really hardworking okay! We worked till about 7plus. Washed up. Changed. And went down to Jurong Point to eat dinner. Ate Chicken kebarb (v.nice! :D) and then went upstairs to eat KFC. Spent $8.50 in total. Took mrt home and bathed. then SLEEP. Ah, precious sleep. [Friday] Woke up at normal time (9plus). Arr, i want to wake up earlier. i always set my alarm at 7.30 but i keep snoozing till 8am then i'll off the alarm. Next thing i knew, i wake up at 9plus. wth! So, played soccer in the afternoon. At Bukit Timah field. Attack vs defence. 7-aside match, which was super-exhausting. And then back to A v D. Next, changed and rushed home. Bathed and went out again. BBQ at Yew Tong's house was great! Really fun! And there were alot of food! Bought too much already. We BBQ-ed satay, otah, chicken wings, stingray, cuttlefish, beef, hotdogs, corn, potato, and some more... And yeah, i drank Bacardi! Pure! The feeling is damn nice. Burning my throat :D Then we mixed it with the fruit punch. Nicer that way. There was beer too! Yew Tong's dad bought. Anyway, finished up the food we cooked, packed up. Took bus 170 and walked home. Ar, finally home sweet home. ![]() Wesley, Belmond, Wei Jin and Elian ![]() Belmond, Jun Jie and Elian ![]() Xian Fong, Elian, Me, Jun Jie, Daryl and Wesley ![]() Ying Lun and Belmond ![]() Daryl, Belmond and Matthew Ying Lun, Ming and me (if you wonder why Belmond appears in so many of the photos above, its not cause i find him cute thus keep taking pictures of him. Then walked to Jonas's condo. i thought there would be alot of people. But in the end only, Hwa Xiong, Wen Lin, Yew Tong, Ming and Kenneth came! Even the organiser (Desmond) didn't come. Oh well. Played Gamecube which was really fun and entertaining. Yoshi is so cute! HAHA. Had lunch and then more Gamecube! And then we had BBQ real early. Started the fire at 4pm! Finished everything by 6pm. So early! Well, its cause Jonas's family (cousins and all) are coming for BBQ too. So we had to finished early and zhao. Next, we went back to play ... GAMECUBE! HAHAHA. Duper-fun! Da-jie's off to Myanmar for a week. Left yesterday afternoon. Don't ask me why she's there. She doesn't want people to know. i hope she'll be alright there. Safe and healthy. Or somewhat like gangsters. oh well. i'm finding a job. Found some ads in Classified. Called some of them. And they're really weird. Like... [conversation in mandarin] "where you live?" "eh bukit batok" "you how old?" "16" "JC or poly?" "JC" "What JC?" "SA" "What's SA?" " Saint Andrew's" "Oh, JC ar. Don't want already. bye" wtf!! then another one: "Are you a student?" Crap the hard drive is running out of space. i've been O2 jamming too. Ate lunch. Then watched Blood Diamond! YAY. Finally watched it. ![]() Nice movie. Leonardo's accent was quite funny. The whole movie revolves around just one freaking diamond. And the civil war in Sierra Leone. " In England, diamonds are bling bling. Here, they're bling bang. " hahahaha. Cause the rebel troops go around shooting at innocent civilians. Quite stupid really. Anyway, i'm dloading Dexter and Prison Break 3. Darn, episode3 of PB3 takes freaking long. i don't know why! And there's Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later, 300 and the first-person shooter, real time strategy game, Brothers in Arms! YAY i've got the Brothers in Arms cd. But its the pirated one. Can't install it in this comp. NOOOOO!!! its damn fun to play luh. Very tactical. hmm i feel like buying albums. Waiting for BFMV's new album. And CoB's new album too, next year! There's Angels & Airwave's I-Empire. Oh no, i think i'm running out of Vitamin M. Crap. Gonna spend a bomb this holidays! ARRRGGHH! oh yes. And i found my dream bass!! OOoooooo! Cost: About $500. But but but... that model only has 4-strings, no 5-strings! AAAHHHH! shit. (5-strings doesn't mean more pro. its just that i prefer having that extra string to give a lower pitch ;) ] oh well..... And gotta buy a bass amp. too. Prolly a hundred. i seriously need Vitamin M. And Ma say she'll buy me an iPod if i can find a $300+ one. (P.S. Junjie did you find any today when you went Sim Lim?) Hmm i wonder if she'll let me top it up to $428 so that i can buy the latest iPod video instead. oh well, gotta ask her! Heh i borrowed 2 history books. One on the history of Germany (1914-1945). The other is on Hitler. Hitler became Hitler because of the psychiatric treatment he received. i didn't know that!! Alrighty, i'd better go off now. Bathe. Dinner. Gonna pack my books and all tonight! Gonna read too! Dorothy (the maple addict) is flying off to Turkey later at midnight. Away for 2 weeks! i hope there's no terrorists or bombs while she's there. O Levels is finally OVER!!!! OVER! OVER! OVER!!!!After months of hard work and revisions and blah blah blah, it has come to an end!!!! How did i find it? Eh eh eh, okay only lah. Not too hard, not too easy. Oh well. i'll try not to think too much about it. Gonna leave the result to God! So, on Tuesday after bio paper1, played soccer at CCAB. Played like crazy. the sun was scorching hot. After soccer, split into 2 groups. Ying Lun, Lucas, Jun Jie and i went to Queensway to collect the jerseys. Yay. The others went.... i don't know! After that i went home. Bathed. Went out again. Met Jeremy, Ying Lun and Yew Tong. Took bus 190 together. Met the others (Daryl, Ming and Jun Jie) at Cine. Bought tickets for Stardust! Ate dinner at Pepper Lunch! i got a free bowl of rice but i didn't ate it because my meal had too much. Gave it to Daryl, Jeremy and Shawn instead. then Jeremy & i went to Heeren. Checked out Angels & Airwaves new album, I-Empire, at HMV. Real cool! Walked around and looked at other shops. Wow, i didn't know Heeren got so many nice clothes shops! Jethro joined us later. Watched Stardust. i think the movie was really great. 4stars! Totally love the storyline. The main actor looks roughly familiar but i couldn't tell who he was. oh well. We had to take the last train home and stopped at Kranji. Shared a cab with Shawn. Reached home at 1plus and crashed. Next day, woke up at 6.30am! Dad drove Mum and i to the Malaysia High Comm. to renew my passport. After taking the photo, registering and all, Mum went home first. i had to collect the passport in the afternoon. But it was only 10.30am then! So, i took a bus down to Vivo (its really near). Walked around in that HUGE shopping mall. i kept getting lost lah! And i think i saw Chew Chor Meng! Looks like him, sounds like him. But i hum ji, don't dare ask him for autograph. Wait wrong person how leh! Had lunch at Burger King. Well, finished the fries and hid the burger and drink in my bag. And i watched Lions for Lambs!! With who? With my new girlfriend. No rly, just me, myself and i (i had to buy 3 tickets) The movie was pretty okay. Kinda hard to understand even though i listened very carefully. i think the movie is like, criticising US's involvement in the Iraq War and all the shit they do. Haha. After the movie, went back to the High Comm. and collected my passport. Yay, i think i look quite alright in it! :D Next, i had to head down to the Singapore Immigration Centre at Lavender. But i didn't in the end. Too tired already. Took 970 home. ah, home sweet home. Gotta go to school tml for some PAE exercise thingy. Prolly going out after that. YAy! 1:59 pm
the picture says it all. The 155th Speech and Graduation Day. 22 September 2007. i will never forget this day! Reached school at around 2pm. Got to class and started camwhoring. it was really fun. Kevin, me, Adam and Thaddeus Thaddeus and me (rawr, my hair's so short) Ming! Daryl and me! Next we had to be seated in the hall. Our parents were already there. Next, presentation of Sportsman of the Year and Senior Josephian. Congrats to Sameul and Alastair! Speeches given by Roth (head prefect), guest-of-honour and mr. sirhan. Most important point in mr sirhan's speech: "Josephians are not to be served, but to serve" Yeah! Ying Lun, looking at bird in the sky ar! Justin, Adam, Zi Xiang, Elian and me! Pictures that Dad took. Hmm the past 4 years in SJI have been very eventful, and memorable as well. All the times spent together with my friends and classmates. The friendships we've forged. The camaraderie. The quarrels over minor disagreements. The countless number of stupid things we did in class. The times when we made the teachers really angry. And we would gather in the canteen every morning to copy each other's homework. Not to forget, the swimming carnivals, cross-country, the annual Track & Field meet (where we would try to escape from the stadium, but to no avail). And the camps too. Sec1 Orientation Camp, Sec2 Ace Camp and OBS last year. The very first thing that we were taught was the prayer. "Let us remember we are in the holy presence of God" -prayer- " I will continue, O my God, to do all actions for the love of You." " Saint Joseph " " Pray for us " " Saint John Baptist de la salle " " Pray for us " " Live Jesus in our hearts " " Forever! " i can also clearly remember the Sec1 Orientation Camp. First time that we stayed over in school. The class was split into 3 groups, according to register number. i guess the first person i met was Kenneth Quek (kinky!) and next was Raj. And then Daryl. And Ming. And the rest. And... Pok! HAHAHA. We were suppose to introduce ourselves by putting an adjective that starts with the same letter as our names. Pok said " PLEASANT POK " HAHHAHA. i think that's the biggest lie on earth. We didn't laugh then because we didn't know him well. But thinking of it now really makes me laugh. Anyway, towards the end of the camp, we as a class had to come up with a skit. And 3 classes (among the 12 classes) chosen by the HOL had to perform during the campfire. We did some dance thingy which was very hilarious and crazy. (luckily my class wasn't chosen) All in all, the camp was really enjoyable and we made new friends! The first 2 years in SJI was great. There were always the "outstanding" people. Ming! Pok! Isaac! Ruzaini! HAHAHA. They were always getting into trouble with teachers and classmates. Ms Syed was our english teacher. And she gave me my first pink form for not bringing a worksheet. Stupid right?! And there's Brother Jason, my lit. teacher. The first lesson was scary. He spoke in a booming voice and he said something about his "Jasonian torture". And about half the class didn't bring the lit. book. He sent them out, went to the staff room and came back with a stack of pink forms. He gave it to those who didn't bring the book. This scared everyone and he was the most feared teacher. In the end, he didn't submit the pink forms and tore them up. And there was also the pets thing! Pok caught frogs and tadpoles in the pond outside the chapel and kept it in a fish tank. He left the fish tank in class and we declared it our class pet. And Ruzaini brought his hamster and left it in class too. These were our class pets. Then Brother Mike came and said that we couldn't keep them :( OH well! The last 2 years were superb. Sec3 was great. The first time we wore long pants. It was like an upgrade! it felt really good. Especially when we go out. Cashiers would call us "Sir". HAHAHA. And on the street soccer court. Those wearing short pants had to listen to us and the sec4s. Sec3 was a football crazy year. Everyday was football, football and more football. Football in class. Football at the street soccer court. Football along the corridor outside class. Football at the track. Football at the hockey pitch. Football at the carpark. And we got into trouble for ramming in class. Hahaha. Sirhan punished embarrassingly [i shan't elaborate here ;) ] And then there was Dempsey Road. the, oh so perfect field. Team Slayers! YAY! Sec4 was even better, i guess. We were the seniors of seniors in the school! (But that also meant a higher expectation in terms of behavior, manners and uniform..) We were Inter-class soccer champions! YAY YAY YAY! In terms of studies, i wasn't really stressed out. The school's been rather slack, even during the hols. Midyears and prelims weren't very very teh hard (as compared to other schools) What i remembered most clearly was that time when we pon-house meeting! HAHA. We got punished real bad. And it was damn scary when sirhan banged on the windows and doors. oh well. Anyways, we as a class were very bonded. We cracked numerous jokes in class. Did all the stupid things that we could ever think of. Gosh, i'll certainly miss them, you guys and all. i think there's saying that goes, 'All good things gotta come to an end'. Well, the end has arrived. The end of my time in SJI. i cannot travel back in time to visit history, but the memories and experiences will forever be etched in my mind.
